In conjunction with Failte Ireland and DLRCoCo, Johnnie Fox’s amongst other local attractions (The GAP, Pine Forest Kids, ReCycle, BikingIE, HillTopTreks etc) are working hard to promote all that is on offer for people coming up the mountain, whilst the lockdown remains stringent at levels 4/5 we will continue our Hatch service for people trekking the mountains on foot or on wheels, we remain the “watering hole” of choice for so many.
As restrictions ease going into 2021, we will have outside dining in our multiple locations from The Haggart to The Village to The Green. We are not weather dependent as we have heated seating in selected covered areas providing shelter with atmosphere plus our great menu offerings.
Down the line we will be linking with others on the mountain for walking and cycle maps available from The Hatch (all year) plus cycle racks at the pub, a local area map with points of interest (including the local repair spot for that wheel that fell off your bike!). We also look towards supporting regrowth in our area and are working with “The Pure Mile” in a bid to clean, plant, nurture our one mile of responsibility – powered by our staff and our locals.
